Eye exams that take their time

Every appointment is with a qualified optometrist, in a quiet room, with time left over for questions. You leave with your prescription, whether you buy glasses from us or not.

Questions

Before you come in

Anything else: call +44 20 7946 0318.

How often should I have an eye exam?

Every two years for most adults, every year for children, over-60s and anyone with diabetes or a family history of glaucoma. Sooner if your vision changes.

Do I need to bring anything?

Your current glasses or contact lenses, a list of any medicines, and sunglasses if you have them: some tests leave you a little sensitive to light.

Can I drive after the exam?

Yes. We only use drops when we need a wider look at the retina, and we tell you before we do.

Do I have to buy glasses from you?

No. Your prescription is yours. We hand it over at the end of every exam, wherever you choose to buy your frames.

What if I cannot make my appointment?

Call or write a day before and we will move it. We do not charge for cancellations.

Forty-five minutes, every number explained.
